Senior Software Engineer, Compute

Nebius is building a full-stack AI-native cloud platform. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Compute team and help design, build, and operate the systems that power large-scale AI workloads for our customers.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement reliable, high-performance services for compute orchestration and workload scheduling.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and hardware teams to deliver end-to-end platform capabilities.
• Improve observability, automation, and operational excellence across production environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation and drive incident response and post-incident improvements.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction and engineering best practices.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems and backend development.
• Proficiency in at least one systems language (e.g., Go, C++, Rust, or Python).
• Experience with Linux, containers, and Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and production operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international team.
