Senior PostgreSQL DBA/SRE

Locations: Spain, Bulgaria, or Portugal ONLY (relocation assistance may be provided).

Product: A global Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) that uses AI and ML to enable organizations to seamlessly connect data sources, cloud applications, and enterprise systems through low-code/no-code automation.

What You’ll Do:

• Keep the Aurora PostgreSQL fleet healthy across all data centers.
• Handle Aurora configuration (parameters, replicas, failover, capacity) and cost work.
• Take ownership of the PgBouncer layer.
• Review schemas and data models with product teams.
• Work on the performance of the main application and the search queries behind AI features.
• Package the team's existing zero-downtime upgrade and switchover procedures into versioned, released automation.
• Develop and deploy tooling for monitoring and managing the PostgreSQL fleet in Kubernetes.
• Handle database incidents end-to-end and take part in resilience projects.
• Contribute to time-boxed evaluations of new database technologies.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
