The Role
Our client is a global FMCG company with a portfolio of iconic and premium brands that consumers recognize and love worldwide. As Customer Marketing Manager, you will shape how these brands show up to the shopper, turning brand and category strategy into sharp, high-impact activation across key customers and channels. You will lead a Trade Marketing Manager, work hand in hand with the sales organization, and report directly to the Customer Marketing Lead.
- Bring the company's category, brand and channel strategy to life through sharp, well-timed promo-activity planning and a stronger, more visible in-store presence.
- Act as the bridge between brand strategy and the shelf, translating big brand ambitions into activation that actually changes shopper behavior.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key customers, standing shoulder to shoulder with the sales team in client meetings and joint business planning.
- Design, lead and deliver high-impact promo mechanics, from POSM and in-store displays to memorable point-of-sale communication that makes the brand impossible to miss.
- Track and evaluate the real business impact of every promo activity, turning data into sharper decisions and continuously raising the bar on ROI.
- Own the A&P budget at channel level, enforcing investment discipline and prioritizing the initiatives that move the needle most.
- Represent the company in customer presentations, annual planning sessions and joint business plans, becoming a trusted face of the brand to key partners.
- Spot emerging shopper and channel trends early, and turn them into fresh ideas that keep the brand ahead of the competition.
- Lead the team and partner agencies, raising the bar on performance and quality of execution.
- Coach and develop the Trade Marketing Manager, building a strong, ambitious customer marketing function for the future.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, brand and finance to make sure every activation is aligned, funded and set up to win.
The Candidate
- 3+ years in a similar role within an international FMCG company.
- Experience working with premium brands.
- Strong commercial thinking and sharp analytical skills.
- Proven track record building long-term, high-value partnerships with National Key Accounts.
- A natural ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels.
- English level Upper Intermediate or above.
- Comfortable working with AI tools in day-to-day work.
